Waterford Valley Chiangrai Golf Club

Waterford Valley Chiang Rai is a scenic 18-hole championship golf course set among the beautiful mountains and natural landscapes of Chiang Rai. Opened in 1997, the course was carefully designed to blend harmoniously with its surroundings, preserving the area’s peaceful atmosphere and spectacular mountain scenery while providing golfers with an enjoyable and rewarding round.

Designed by Rathert International Golf Design, the par-72 layout stretches over 6,961 yards and features wide fairways, gently undulating greens, and thoughtfully positioned hazards that create a unique challenge on every hole. Surrounded by fresh mountain air and natural beauty throughout the course, Waterford Valley Chiang Rai offers golfers a relaxing golfing experience combined with the charm of northern Thailand’s countryside.

Signature Holes : 

• Course B9 Hole 4 Yards 367 : On the first shot, you need to hit the ball around the hill. On the second approach, the shot must fly over the water hazard to land on the green where it is higher. It is noted that the green is much narrow and has slope from back to front.
• Course A6 Hole 3 Yards 197 : It is considered as long-range Par 3 hole with small and narrow green area. On the left hand, there is water hazard and full of bunger on the right.
