Mission Hills Country Club in Kanchanaburi is one of three Jack Nicklaus-designed courses in Thailand, alongside Khao Yai and Mission Hills Phuket. Set in a scenic, gently sloping hillside, the course is framed by mature palms and features hazards like water, sand, trees, and Nicklaus' signature waste bunkers.

The course is challenging, and only skilled players are likely to play to their handicap. Five sets of tees cater to golfers of all abilities, with five holes offering double fairways for different approaches.

The par-5s are standout holes: the 8th is a long hole with bunkers and water down the right, while the 12th features a wide creek splitting the fairway, offering a choice of routes. The 17th is a par-4 with a challenging island green approach.

Surrounded by jungle-clad hills and countryside, the course offers stunning views. The large clubhouse is good for a meal, but the on-site resort accommodations are average.
