Pattaya Country Club is one of the first courses to have been built in the area and after a partial renovation and a new clubhouse the course is now a firm favorite, not only for the quality of the course but also the convenient location around 30 minutes from the city. The course which is spread over am area of 800 acres over a gently rolling landscape with many of the holes edged by mature trees.

This is my favorite course in Pattaya, and I go there the most. It's not because of the course layout or the length, but because it's a normal course and stress-free. The caddies are also enthusiastic; they actively rearrange the course order when there's a backlog, and they're flexible in combining smaller groups of Japanese players.

This used to be my go-to course around Pattaya, but recently, the number of visitor reservation slots on GOLFDIGG has drastically decreased, so I don't go there as often anymore. Also, for some reason, I sometimes get caught in heavy rain even during the dry season, so it's been a string of bad luck.
